Episode-2728- Finding your Why and your Passion
Podcast: Play in new window | Download (Duration: 1:15:21 — 17.2MB)
“Follow your passion”, has become a catch phrase of both modern business gurus and modern spiritual gurus. It is actually one case where the gurus have it right. You absolutely should follow your passion, 100%, but the sad reality is, most people don’t have a damn clue what their passion is.
It gets worse. If you want to know the answer to a math problem, there is an answer and someone can give it to you. If you want to know the best shovel to buy, it may be opinion but I can tell you about a shovel that will be good quality and do what you need. Most things in life have an answer and an answer that someone somewhere can give you or at least provide enough information to help you make a decision. Not with your passion!
Your passion is your passion and the driving whys in your life are also yours and yours alone. I can’t tell you what they are. All I can do or anyone can do is guide you in a journey of discovery to find it for yourself. This is a time for mentorship, vs. teaching.

` - Mentor (n) – A trusted counselor or guide
- Teacher (n) – One who teaches, especially one hired to teach.

Keep the Wolves Away is a great song, thanks for the analysis.
Great episode. I feel so lucky that some years ago I finally followed my passion and found my why, and you Jack Spirko played a role in me being able to achieve that. I am now a successful content creator. Thank you!
