In this episode we discussed wicking beds for home food production in a way that improves ease of growing and virtually eliminates any conventional irrigation requirements.  In reality wicking beds are the easy button especially in hot dry climates.  While scale can be a limiting factor the production, reliability and reduced maintenance make them a fantastic choice for homestead production.
