Today’s TSP Amazon Item of the day is the 64 Piece Eaceily Impact Socket Set.  This particular set is 64 total pieces though you can buy other sets from Eaceily if you have different needs.  Let’s talk about why I selected this set in the first place.  In my home shop I have an extensive set of tools and I didn’t’ really need more tools for my shop, though these would be find for that.

What I was looking for though is a good complete and high quality set to keep in my car and truck.  For such use I don’t need super expensive tools but I do need tools I can trust.  As always I am after price to value ratio on this stuff.  The Eaceily tool sets hit that perfect.

First they are impact grade tools meaning they are built to handle being used by an impact tool.  I always keep a simple Dewalt Impact Tool in my vehicles along with a charged battery and back up charger.  I just swap the battery out about once a month to make sure I have a good one on hand.  The little 2 amp hour batteries are fine for this.  This set also has an impact adapter to work seamless with a such a tool.  Great for simple assembly projects or on the go and on the road repairs.

Additionally the set comes with a full assortment of common SAE and Metric sockets both Deep and Shallow.  Seeing the reviews being so positive and the very few negative views either being about UPS or by um, how do I put this, “special folks” I gave it a shot.  I have to say the quality is even better than I expected.   I mean I have seen many budget sets that are ChiCom junk, not these.  Super heavy duty, feel great in teh hand, solid lock up on nuts and bolts, flawless ratchet function, what else od you want for fricken 60 bucks?

There is more to love as well.  First I really like how the sizes are highly visible and laser etched.  It makes picking the right socket super easy.  Another thing is the case.  Now mind you it isn’t some super bad ass tactical case but as low cost socket sets go the case is great.  Nothing falls out or moves around inside when carried.  Almost every low cost set I have tried has that problem.

So if you need a good ratchet set and don’t want to sell an organ to get one, this may be a great options.  Additionally if you just want a full set in a vehicle, a boat, a cabin, a second home, something like that, I don’t think you can do better for the money than this set.  I have done a few projects with it, most recently a weight bench assembly and it just works flawlessly.
