Rob Torcellini has spent most of his professional career in the agricultural, wastewater management, or industrial controls & automation industries. For over ten years, he has been growing using aquaponics.
During this time frame, he has designed some products used in the hydroponic and aquaponic markets such as the GrowGrip, now sold around the world. He grows seasonal produce in his two greenhouses and provides educational tours of Bigelow Brook Farm to various community groups and educational institutions.
He also creates content about the farm on his YouTube channel with over 90,000 subscribers.

I had a “Small Business Ownership” class my senior year in high school. The entire semester was devoted to creating a business plan to then get a loan from a bank. That’s it, nothing on excel or any actual business ownership. (Excel came years later after teaching myself on the job.)
I can honestly say I get more out of episodes like this than any high school class. Certainly not surprising anymore. Thanks for all the varied content and teaching!
