There are two types of people who create content especially in the freedom, liberty and preparedness space.  There are those that tell you what you want to be told for the purpose of getting you to listen to them.  Some of these people even end up believing their own bullshit.  The second type is those who tell you the truth even if it upsets you and makes you want to not listen to them.

I try to always be the second kind even when I am telling you things I do not want to be true.  For many years I talked about “liberty communities” and the concept of parallel economies.  This was something I wanted to be possible and probable, I have to say at this point, it isn’t going to happen at any meaningful scale.  It sounds so great 300ish anarcho libertarians all in off grid earth ships, growing their own food, ignoring society.  Great show me one!

The world is moving on, technology is evolving and the people most loudly claiming to fight it are using the same systems, tech and infrastructure they claim to fight against.  There is one planet to live on and even if we do terraform Mars no one alive today will see it happen.  You live in the best nation to live in, in the world.  The only one people really line up to get into.  Even people who go to the EU or say Australia would prefer the US if they could get in.

The thing is even most of the people who live here and agree with America being the best place to live don’t really get what makes us so great.  It isn’t the rah rah bullshit.  It isn’t our “democracy”, it is in fact our republicanism.  And no that is not yet another “we are not a democracy we are a republic” rant that most people saying don’t understand.  I am not talking about federal elections at all here.  I am talking about the optionality that a real republic offers.  Today we talk about that and more.

    • In 2020 that for most people CoVid was a bad flu and to just ignore it and go on with life
    • In March of 2020 24 hours before the TV news talked about it at all that HCQ was a valid treatment for Covid in at risk people
    • In 2020 that if you wanted out of the cities to get out, get out, get out before it got much harder to do so
    • In 2022 that it was the accumulation trough for Bitcoin and stacking sats would never be that easy again
    • In 2025 that No Kings was funded by Soros, The Tides Foundation, Et. Al and not grass roots
    • Oh and why did all of you stop shrieking about Real ID?
  • Okay, I think that is a decent partial list of this type of thing, so where are we going next
    • We need to use the reality of multiple government zones to our advantage
    • The best way to get a tax cut is own and operate a successful business
    • AI is not going away so you better learn to use it, the people you will compete with are
    • Bitcoin is the best way to preserve wealth over time, DCA every day even a dollar and understand what “digital gold” means
    • The dollar is not going to zero, at least not against the rest of the worlds currencies
    • There will be no meaningful cuts to government and voting harder won’t change anything
    • No one is coming to save you, the good news is you don’t need saving from anything except your own self imposed limitations
