This brought to mind the very ending of the Netflix movie Anon (not sure if it’s still on Netflix). It shows an extreme intrusion into privacy in some unspecified near future. The movie itself is rather slow, but the very last lines of the movie really get to the heart of the matter:

“It’s not that I have something to hide… I have nothing I want you to see. – Anon (2018)

The state of Oklahoma has been issuing select fire rifles to members of the state police for years. Most recently of the AR/M16 pattern.

Not all, but a large percentage of, and even a majority of, police agencies are actually issuing m16/m4 rifles, or select fire rifles purpose built for police, such as the Colt law enforcement carbine which is a select fire.

Even when the agency buys new rifles as opposed to getting surplus rifles from DoD, select fire rifles are cheaper than semi-auto only rifles, by a couple hundred dollars each.

Great show, great interview, and insight, thanks, however the ‘swatter ‘ deserves, not saying to execute, but deserves, being sen about 1960 and all the COPS, terminated from the department, removed of the privileges, for concealed carry, employment with any LEO position , driving permissions, Felony conviction for violation of both Fed and State local rights, and , if possible citizenship revoked and taken out at 80,000 feet and air deployed sans chutes,

Thanks for all you do.
