Today I woke up and thought to myself, “that decade of flux you forecasted all the way back in 2010, yeah man it is here and it is happening, may be you need to talk about it”.  For those new to the show I said back in 2010 that “the decade of flux we will experience from 2020-2030 will be the most radical shift any living person has ever seen.  That said as we approached the mark I punted my prediction out 5 years, making the call 2025-2035 and that is now locked in.

We are indeed currently in totally uncharted territory.  AI alone is shifting the workplace and educational institutions in ways they have yet to even grasp.  The economic and geopolitical macros are moving in 10 opposing directions all at once.  The US dollars is not dying but it’s value is in an accelerated unyielding terminal decline in value.  Political tribalism around the world but especially in the EU and US has reached an all time fevered pitch.

An entire generation along with half of an older one sits on the sidelines now wondering if they will ever be able to own a home.  There is more opportunity than at anytime in history and at the same time in some ways things are harder economically then ever before.  The university system of education is still a gold standard for many types of education but a dying emotional support system for about half of what it offers in the form or degrees.  The biological enrollment cliff along with a new class of more informed high school grads is about to crash right into a failing model and everyone knows it.  At the same time everyone is also trying to pretend it isn’t coming.

Bitcoin has gone from being a weird nerd thing you YOLO into and hope to becoming a strategic asset of the wealthy.  The reality that blue collar trades are a way to wealth without 4 years in an institution more concerned about a political message is becoming common knowledge.   The homestead movement had an incredible renaissance from 2010 – 2025 and has matured into a way of life for many.

The CoVid years destroyed the comforting myths we held onto about the medical industry.  A good 50% or more of the world no longer trusts the health care industry and with good reason.  Diet has also come into question with diets like carnivore and keto which doctors claimed would make you fat and sick instead cured diseases and provided amazing results.  So much that even people who have not adopted them have still made major changes to their eating habits.  Eliminating things like corn syrup, see oils, dyes, etc. from their diets.

This world is different then the world of only a decade ago in many ways.  Some things are drastically worse while some are exceedingly better.  The real key though is the change is not slowing down, it is accelerating and how you handle it form here will have a major impact on how satisfied you will be with your next decade and where you end up at the end of it.
