If I had a blue sky budget I would live on a small to mid sized river, that should tell you how I feel about this subject.  Of all types of fishing I love fishing moving fresh water the best.  Rivers come in many sizes.  I grew up fishing the St. John’s River in Jacksonville Florida.  While I have many fond memories of it, that is not the type of river I most enjoy fishing.  The St. Johns where I fished it was over a mile wide, the water was brackish, tides could easily drown a swimmer, etc.  Rivers like … Continue reading →
