Richard Morgan grew up in the arctic and later joined the Marine Corps completing two tours in Iraq. After leaving the Marines he contracted with a well known defense contracting agency for about three years in Afghanistan and Iraq. During this time he became interested in the Prepping lifestyle after reading James Rawles’ books and spending time on a friend’s “remote military outpost” in northern New Mexico.
