The Survival Podcast Posted on by

Today’s Item of the day is 10,000 Lumen Rechargeable Flashlight by Vevor. (Remember to use code VVPROMO to get 5% off anything you buy from Vevor with my links).  And check the video at the end of this write up too. So when I saw this item was only about 20 bucks I requested a sample figuring if it was at all decent it was certainly worth the money.  Having now put one through its paces for a few weeks, I can tell you that it is honestly an outstanding light. First and foremost what we are always wanting from … Continue reading →

Now look the PowerCore Slim 10050 is not the beast the larger unit is, but it has a lot … Continue reading →

Streamlight MicroStream – Item of the Day

The Survival Podcast Posted on by

Every day I bring you an item on Amazon that I personally use or has been purchased by many members of the audience and I have researched enough to recommend. Today’s TSP Amazon Item of the day is the Streamlight MicroStream light. I have been recommending the larger version of this light, the Streamlight Stylus Pro for almost ten years. The reason I didn’t really recommend this one until now is simply because the Streamlight Stylus Pro is within a dollar or two of the MicroStream. Two batteries vs. one battery, hence double the life of the batteries with the … Continue reading →

Today’s TSP Amazon Item of the day is Anker Soundcore Life P2 True Wireless Earbuds.  I know I sound like a broken record but I just love Anker and there are many reasons.  Mainly they offer an amazing price to value ratio and they stand rock solid behind all they do.  Over the years I have sold easily more than 10,000 items in total from Anker.  I have heard of … Continue reading →

The Survival Podcast Posted on by

Every day I bring you an item on Amazon that I personally use or has been purchased by many members of the audience and I have researched enough to recommend. Today’s TSP Amazon Item of the day is Velcro Brand ONE-WRAP Cable Ties.  Okay so mostly these are used for their intended purpose, which is managing wires and cables.  They are great for that and easy to remove when needed and put back on.  Of course I have been recommending Reusable Nylon Zip Ties for years as well and those are great for many things these cloth ones are not … Continue reading →

Etekcity Wireless Remote Control Electrical Outlet Switch – Item of the Day

The Survival Podcast Posted on by

Special Notice – Etek City has discontinued this item.  It is too bad because Etek is a stellar company with a great reputation.  That said if they don’t make it, then you can’t get it from them.  The good news is I found a great product from a company called Syantek that works exactly the same and has passed my testing to where I can recommend it.  So if you need a product like this check out the Syantek Remote Control Light Switch Kit. Every day I bring you an item on Amazon that I personally use or has been … Continue reading →

The Thermocube – Item of the Day

The Survival Podcast Posted on by

Every day I bring you an item on Amazon that I personally use or has been purchased by many members of the audience and I have researched enough to recommend. Today’s TSP Amazon Item of the day is the Farm Innovators Thermocube.  This little gadget is one of the most useful and slick little things you can get your hands on.  It is simply a two plug adapter, meaning you plug it into one outlet and you get two.  But inside is a mercury switch.  This makes it provide power only in a specific temperature range. There are a lot of … Continue reading →

Here is the caveat, so far… I recently ran the Cable Matters 6-Outlet Wall Mount Surge Protector on … Continue reading →

XPOWER A-2 Series Multi-Purpose Powered Air Duster – Item of the Day

The Survival Podcast Posted on by

Every day I bring you an item on Amazon that I personally use or has been purchased by many members of the audience and I have researched enough to recommend. Today’s TSP Amazon Item of the day is XPOWER A-2 Series Multi-Purpose Powered Air Duster.  I found this item when I simply tired of the concept of “canned air”.  Let’s be honest except for being a good gag in Space Balls, canned air is a stupid idea. At least for now air is free, it isn’t even taxed yet.  Why the hell would we pay to have someone put it … Continue reading →
