Glen Tate is the developer of the PAM Radio flashcards that teach preppers the practical – not the technical – use of ham radio. He is also the co-host of the Prepping 2.0 podcast and syndicated radio show. He is also the author of the ten-book prepper novel series 299 Days. During the CoVid shut down critical high risk cancer screening was put on hold.  Due to this Glen had cancer without knowing it that became far more advanced then it should of.  This resulted in emergency surgery and a long painful treatment and recovery period. Even before this though … Continue reading →

Episode-2698- Almost Everything the Government Says about Health and Nutrition is a Lie

I do realize that the title is a bit redundant.  Yes, I know, I could just say “almost everything the government says is a lie” but today we zoom in on specific lies, show them to be lies and come away with solutions to them.  Sound good? Great and be assured that these are just a very small number of the lies the government tells along with the medical establishment on this subject.  Specifically the ones I am most familiar with and thus able to discuss in depth. Episode-2686- Time for the CoVid Hysteria to End

Time for the hysteria to end?  But are not cases surging, Texas hospitals over loaded, Sweden’s now at black plague death levels and all the Karen’s are cowering in TP forts? Mix of truth, hype and bullshit there folks and today I am going to try to cut though a lot of it.  I am going to say this, many times my sources I provide are impeccable but today I am only going to provide a few.  I am sick of doing “homework” for people.  I will simply say I will be clear as I can today about when I … Continue reading →

We have reached a point where the cure is more dangerous then the disease and I feel it is getting worse daily.  Right now I feel every day we stay shut down will add 10 days to the time needed to rebound and that number is going to continue to grow. John Pugliano and I have been trading some thoughts on this so I asked him to come on air today for a frank and broad discussion on what the future may hold.  Join us today for a stark look at what may be the worse self inflected wound in … Continue reading →

Episode-2655- What I Think about CoVid at this Point in the Game

The Survival Podcast Posted on May 7, 2020 by Modern SurvivalMay 7, 2020

I have made spot on calls about CoVid and frankly I blew a big one.  It was of course how draconian the government response to it would become.  While the government is doing exactly what I said they would do in a pandemic almost a decade ago, the current virus is not something that warrants such a response. That was my opinion early on and it is now my opinion at the current time. I remained open to being wrong though.  The early death rates looked horrifying, like really bad.  The models were even worse.  It seemed without lock downs … Continue reading →

Episode-2653- Developing Your Personal Recovery Plan

The Survival Podcast Posted on May 5, 2020 by Modern SurvivalMay 5, 2020

CoVid is not over, the immediate infections will continue for a time, while the total lock downs are an over reaction, the threat is real, especially for those in high risk groups.  While I don’t think there will be a “second wave” worse than the first wave, some up tick after lifting lock downs will likely occur.  A return in fall is likely, again the entire doomsday worse than ever nonsense should stop, but some return is also possible. Worse we now know what government will do.  We all need to be prepping right now for our own personal recovery … Continue reading →

Stay home and save lives!  It is the creed we are all supposed to follow.  Apparently if I go out and walk by myself in the woods at a local park, what I am doing is akin to shooting an old person in the face.  According to Governor Gretchen “MeMaw” Whitmer I guess all of Texas is killing people because you can buy seeds and a garden hose when you are at Walmart which is already open and full of people anyway? My problem with the lock down strategy is it is ignoring facts in preference to catch phrases, something … Continue reading →

For New Listeners – We are on iTunes, Stitcher Radio Etc and if you have any issues listening on the website directly just click this link https://bit.ly/covid-what2do Today’s show has no typical intro segments, I am designing it to allow you to help those who are mostly or totally unprepared for this.  As I have said a lot lately, if you follow our basic guidelines is 30-60 days of minimum preparedness for food, essentials and finances you should be in really good shape right now. Yet not everyone is prepared, in fact clearly they are not and in some areas … Continue reading →
