Special New Product Deal from Old Grouch
Just got the following email for you guys from Tim Glance at Old Grouch. Seems like a really good idea to add to our kits.
Hey TSP, this is Tim Glance from The Old Grouch’s Military surplus with a special deal for you.
Do you use a chainsaw, power tools, axe or similar tools on the homestead? Do you shoot? Do you do any other activities that have a risk of eye injury? Of course you do- now do you have anything in your first aid preps for treating eye injuries?
A few years ago the US Military started issuing a new style of battle dressing for treating eye wounds, specifically penetrating eye injuries. It uses a ventilated metal shield with a special hydrogel adhesive disk around it to protect the wounded eye from injury without putting any pressure or contact on it that can make the injury worse.
These normally sell for $15-20 each. The ones I got are past the “use-by” date but the sterile wraps are intact and the adhesive is fine, so they are still usable if you don’t mind the date being past- that is something you have to judge for yourself. For my personal use I don’t care! And if anyone gets these and isn’t happy with them I will refund 100%, I am confident you will be pleased.
Because they were past the date I got these from the manufacturer of military kits at a great deal- and just started offering them on the website for $16.95 for 4 kits. Well, I have 100 sets set aside for a special offer for TSP listeners- use the code “tspeye” and get a set of 4 for $10!
Full details and even a video are on our website here http://store.oldgrouch.biz/hhcoeyeshlot.html
Make sure to check your shipping options as you checkout, on these USPS will offer the lowest rates for most people unless you are buying with other items.
