Today we are going to talk about one of the primary support planks that need to be in place for real modern survival living. It won’t be about storing food, the right guns, getting defense training or securing your property. All of those are incredibly important and there is a ton more that is important as well. That said, what is the primary leverage we use to get these things and many others done? The answer is money.
Money is a symbol for energy, that is what it really represents, whether human labor, natural energetic systems or man made automation, it is all about energy. In a sense real monetary economics is “thermo-economics”.
Simply put you do work, you get paid in “money” for that work. Your energy was used to charge an economic battery, now you can store that energy, apply it so that you get more energy back (investing) or spend it (convert it into something you want or need). This is a simplified view but sometimes a simplified view is the most practical for how it effects our lives.
With this view of economics we begin to understand the purpose money serves for the systems of control and then using economic martial arts we can redirect that to our own purposes. The truth is money is both the single biggest liberating force ever created, it is also the single most powerful tool of enslavement at the same time. The choice is yours, which is it for you today, and what shall it be for you tomorrow?

Great show, and great line on the show image. Forget if you mentioned it during the show – is that quote attributable to someone or is it a Spirko original?
I think it is mine but it is something many have said in some way or another.
My personal thought-scape:
1) If someone else has done it, save for extreme biological disability/disadvantage, I can do it too with commitment, self-discipline, and self-control.
2) If no one else has done it, with all of the above and; imagination, curiosity, and open-mindedness, I can do it.
Both stem from Sir Arthur C. Clarke’s 3 Laws (namely 1-2).
Great show. My side hustle is selling customized yo-yos in esty. But it is not scaling up well. Time to close shop and start something else.
Wooo boy! I’m Southern and born and raised in the South and live in the South and Texas has some great BBQ! I’ve got family there and just spent the last 15 minutes re-tracing my last visit with the airport as the starting place on Google Maps, going street by street, to pinpoint the place I had the best Texas BBQ: killensbarbecue.com
Apologies for so many posts:

Thanks so much for this episode Jack. Love when you talk business.
My side hustle is custom WordPress websites and SEO. Make $400-1600/m doing that on the side so it’s that’s a nice little side stream of income. So here’s the question. . .
Can you please expand on what you were saying about wishing website designers would go in on businesses with you or others instead of charging you $100/hour for work? I’d love to make this a partially passive stream of income, maybe find an entrepreneur where I could help with that upfront work and then see monthly income without having to put in a lot of monthly hours.
Thanks Jack!
