We are training our 18 Shubunkin Goldfish in the fish kindergarden to be social little guys that eat from your hands. Shubunkins are great fish and a great alternative to Koi since they produce less waste and don’t get as big.

We also discuss the aeration system using something I am calling diffusion towers. Not only do these increase O2, they also prevent floating vegetation from getting destroyed by water discharge. And we go over some of the plants including water iris (Louisiana Black Gamecock, Red Beans and Japanese Variegated), Dwarf Cattails, Dwarf Rush, Water Lilly, Valesneria, Water Wisteria and more.
