I don’t use Coinbase very much, but one additional perk they’ve got going for crypto beginners is their Earn Rewards program. Basically, they’ll give you a small amount (usually $6 worth) of specific cryptocurrencies in exchange for participating in tutorials describing said crypto. Yeah they obviously have a motive behind this (giving a little in hopes of generating more interest and exchange activity). But $6 for watching three 3-minute videos? Why the hell not, right?

That said, I’m not sure if you have to have a higher level of personal verification or photo ID submitted in order to qualify for that program. Personally I don’t see it as a big problem… I keep my limited Coinbase activity separate from my other mining and crypto exchange activity anyway.

P.S. – What’s the deal, Jack? It’s Election Day… where’s the ass-clown circus music when it’s most needed? 😉

Hey Jack, do you have sources for what you said about the masks not being effective? I’m not trying to sound like an ass, but people won’t listen without a study.

There are many sources but this one kind of sums a lot of it up, provides links to the actual resources, and addresses the conflicting studies.
