I am on the side of the officer being in the right, although some later shots were fired from the side so I there a possible weak point there in the defense of the officer?

What the Hell happened to you Jack? You’re here cheering for your own oppression and the oppression of all Americans by masked thugs. How the Hell can you watch a cold blooded murder and support these lawless dirt bags. They’re shredding the constitution with their lawless acts. The second amendment exists because of this right here, something you talked about constantly. Now that the government is here taking our rights away, killing us in the streets, you’re on their side. What a coward and a traitor you are to liberty. What a Judas you are to freedom. This is insane. Libertarian my ass.

Being critical of government overreach and bad actors in the law enforcement community does not mean one wants open borders. I believe that’s called creating a false dichotomy. I learned that from a podcast I used to listen to.

I am not the original poster, despite us sharing a first name.

How is your response in anyway related to his statement of “Being critical of government overreach and bad actors in the law enforcement community does not mean one wants open borders”.

I’m honestly not following your logic Jack. You’re so wound up on left vs right, who the fuck cares about left vs right, lets analyze the situation based on logical thinking.

Your argument seems to be the ends justify the means, we need to enforce immigration laws (agreed) therefore any means to do that are justified (disagree).

Maybe you truly just don’t believe there is any overreach happening? I find that hard to believe when you have always blamed the government for incompetence and overreach in virtually every other scenario.

By the way I do believe there would be a humane\ constitutional way to go about getting rid the many of the 15 million illegals, but it would take a long time and would take targeting employers that are mostly right leaning.

If you really think it’s justified that everyone will now have to have proof of citizenship on them at all times or be detained by men with guns then just say so, I just thought that approach might make libertarian/minarchists a tad uncomfortable.

I don’t think this is productive, but I will respond directly to this question since you say no one has provided a coherent answer.

Again if you say you don’t want open borders but don’t like how deportations work, WHAT SHOULD BE DONE? It is only the the third time I have asked without any coherent answer.

First, just because a law can’t FULLY be enforced doesn’t mean that “nothing can be done”. We could reduce all crime significantly in this country if we traded more freedom for safety. It’s a false dichotomy to say our choice is either a total police state with very low crime or anarchy. There is a middle ground where we have fundamental rights that protect us from the government while also allowing the government some leeway to protect us.

Second, the real world is messy. Of the 15 millions illegals, an estimated 2.5-3.5 million were brought as children. If those children are upstanding citizens why should the government expend resources kicking them out of the only country they’ve know? The rest knowingly came here illegally, so fine deport them to discourage more coming. Although if they are hard working people doing construction or picking fruit in the fields I have a hard time getting super worked up about them being here either.

So what should be done? If it were up to me I would deport the criminals first (even most democrats agree with this), second the ones on public assistance, third focus on employers, fourth well…..if you can stay under the radar and work and live in a community without causing problems then why the fuck should I care?

The BBB appropriated an additional 168 billion dollars to immigration enforcement (https://www.cato.org/blog/deportations-add-almost-1-trillion-costs-gops-big-beautiful-bill). Something like a x6 increase, that is NOT for just doing those three things.

The admin wants mass deportations. Not putting words in their mouth, this is what they say (https://www.whitehouse.gov/articles/2026/01/mass-deportations-are-improving-americans-quality-of-life/). Mass deportations is NOT equal to those three things.

“Door-to-door” enforcement (https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/nation/2026/01/08/jd-vance-promises-aggressive-immigration-enforcement/88086884007/). They intend to do MUCH more than those three things.

Disappointed in your lately political leaning and blaming without investigation. I’ll look forward to your Survival related content, but will discontinue following if not.

Great breakdown on the shooting Jack. IF we are a nation of laws, then we should be prepared to have the stomach to watch the sausage being made (necessary arrests) to enforce them. IF these criminals had been released to ICE in the jails (as they asked for) then much of this wouldn’t be necessary at all. Clinton, Bush, Obama did the same to millions in their tenures – but no media/leftist manipulation.

Was hoping to see some rationality from my old survival peeps. Unfortunately the brainrot and washing from Trump and maga worked way too well. I think it was Covid that broke yalls brain, can’t wait to see how you justify the latest execution. Sad but again not surprising from a Texan.

Trump will take your guns then I’ll laugh.

Thanks for inspiring me to buy silver back in the day though, Trump ruined the economy and now it’s worth something!
