This course begins with a foundation based on permaculture’s ethics, the breaks down Holmgren’s 12 principles into 3 blocks of four each.  It then ends with a review of the material along with how to use what you have learned in active design and to uncover missed design opportunities on your property or any property.

The real beauty of this course is as it is based on principles it is geographically, climate and terrain agnostic.  Techniques, plant types, etc. vary widely by your climate, terrain and geography among other factors.  But principles, well they are universal.  The same principles apply to alpine climates, temperate climates, deserts, tropics, sub tropics, etc. it just doesn’t matter.
