Today’s show is based on a great article written by Clare Wolfe of Backwoods Home Magazine called, “Preparing for Civil Unrest“.  I thought this article was so timely and though provoking that I last minute preempted today’s planned show and quickly put together an outline for today based on this article.  In addition to listening today make sure to read Claire’s article.

  5. Exposed: American Police Force Is A Blackwater Front Group

    American Police Force, the paramilitary unit patrolling a small town in Montana, has been exposed as being a front group for the disgraced private military contractor Blackwater, now called “Xe”.

    The American Police Force website, on a page that has swiftly been deleted but remains cached here, states that APF runs the “U.S. Training Center,” which proves “a wide range of instruction and training for all types of law enforcement organizations, from basic firearms training to complex SWAT tactics,” according to the website.

Jack talk about cival unrest.I got my social security statement in the mail yesterday.What made me think is i read a statement that says by 2037 the payroll taxes collected will be enough to pay only about 76 percent of scheduled benefits.The sad thing about this is the way things are going i would think its only going to worse.What if it suddenly became 50 percent no money starving people.

  9. People have started putting up signs with political (anti-government) messages all over my neighborhood. Tell me that’s not a sign that they are approaching the edge…

  11. My issues with all these camp ideas is that they are dependant on soldiers doing the work. I have a hard time believing that our armed forces would follow such an order. While companies like blackwater may be willing to do anything for money ( and i have nothing against contractors) I just dont see many of our troops standind up and putting their own neighbors into camps. Maybe I am naive I would believe most would stand with us not against us.

    That is the big safe guard and it is exactly why the US is one of the few countries that have a military that is specifically made up of what is called the “citizen solider”. In fact being a citizen solider is part of both recruiting and training. The foil hat folks just don’t get this, most have never served. To them anyone in a uniform is an atomatom that doesn’t think or care, just follows orders.

    To a few others I have never said there are no detention camps or plans for re-purposing facilities for that purpose. I have said there are not “FEMA DEATH CAMPS”. The two concepts are quite different.

It wasn’t til you mentioned sitting in a restaurant or any public place with an eye on the door and walls behind you, etc, that I realised that I do this all the time but have never really acknowledged that I do. I must do it sub-consiencely (sp?) so I guess that means my situational awareness is ‘in-tune’

  16. The governing bodies have been preparing for civil unrest for many years, this is not leaning toward conspiracy in the slightest sense. Not everyone will accept the news at the start, it is hard to comprehend you have to go out and see it for yourself. Old empty military camps now with electricity turned on and lights running 24/7!
    I imagine that people will volunteer to go once their homes are gone and living in the tent gets unbearable. I see in my region- which by the way hasn’t been hit hard yet- camping trailers pulled in alongside houses and trailers, and tents set up in backyards. 6 or more vehicles in the driveway… It’s coming, they will have a spat with their relatives, a call will take place, and the alternative living quarters will be offered.

  17. Another great topic, and another great episode. Just like the bug in or bug out episode, the civil unrest eposide was super practical.

    No matter what the disaster, there is a good chance civil unrest will be part of it. And almost no one in this county (unless you’ve seen riots in Panama like you) has any idea how crazy and mean crowds can get. We need to be mentally prepared for this. Great job.

I’m not exactly the biggest fan of xE or other PMCs, but the imagery & text used in the “American Police Force” website looks like somebody obtained some DOD pictures & what strikes me as way beyond the pale, using the Serbian crest as a company symbol and concocted a digital fairy tale about this so-called contract security outfit. I doubt any real PMC/Security corp. is behind these weirdos & from what I’ve heard on the news, the huckster in charge of “APF” has beaucoup felony fraud charges against him.

  20. Excellent episode Jack. Great stuff as usual.

    As a bit of an aside, I wanted to echo what a great place Sawtooth Tactical is. About two years ago I ordered a bunch of PMags from Jeff. This was over the Christmas holidays and I let the order slip my mind. Sometime in January I wondered why I had not seen the mags and it turned out Jeff had some heart trouble and was down and out for a while. All this time his friends were getting the orders boxed and shipped out to the people who did the group buy.

    Sometime later Jeff called me, apologized profusely for having had heart trouble (no kidding), and made sure I still wanted everything I had ordered.

    Great place. Excellent people. Could not ask for anything better.
