I caught up with Paul Wheaton during the Exit and Build Summit last week.  It was an awesome conference, and Paul had everyone in the palm of his hand.  Between sessions, he was telling me about the Permaculture Technology Jamboree he’s hosting this summer.

It’s going to be an epic event! Two weeks of hands-on skill-building.  These are the skills we need to secure our freedom, using simple technologies to make your property more resilient, food and water systems more secure, and homes healthier to live in.

They’ll be covering Rocket Mass Heater technology, which allows you to heat your home, water, and food with a tenth of the wood used in a normal wood stove.  They will also be teaching natural building techniques, from round-wood timber framing, to building exclusively with materials harvested from your own land.

The food-growing systems Paul has build are really amazing!  His systems are designed using earthworks and hugel beds to produce millions of calories annually with little maintenance and nearly no irrigation.  If you want to learn innovative food preservation methods to store nutrient dense calories years into the future with no electricity you really have to get to this event.

There’s a lot more at the event than I have time to cover here, but here’s a few more projects:

• Build a solar yurt.
• Build a rocket-stove powered kiln and forge.
• Build a Rocket Mass Heater core and take it home with you.
• Gather water from dry lands with a spring terrace.
• Create a robust apothecary so you can fire big pharma.
• Grow edible and medicinal mushrooms, and use the mycelium mats to insulate outbuildings.

This is a huge event.  Paul Wheaton is the only guy I know who can put an event like this together! Where else can you get this much knowledge in two weeks?  People are only truly free when they know how to do the most important things for themselves.   Reclaim your sovereignty by learning these skills.  Once you have done it with your own hands you will own it forever!
