I am old enough to remember 3 Mile Island and the movie “The China Syndrome” and of course that means I also remember Chernobyl and Fukushima. Thing is all of these, both real world and movie alike were hyped and based on technology from the 50s and 60s. The year is 2025, modern nuclear is finally making a comeback. Tune in today as John Pugliano, Dillon Allen and I break down why it is well past time for this to occur.

John Pugliano is an original member of the expert council. He is the founder and money manager at Investable Wealth and is the host of the Wealthsteading Podcast. He has over 40 years investing experience and has had a circuitous career including serving in the military, international industrial sales and entrepreneurship. He’s a father of 6 and grandfather of 12.

Dillon Allen has spent more than 25 years in energy. In the Navy for more than a decade, he designed and built nuclear reactors for most of that time and spent 18 months wasting your tax dollars on the War on Drugs in Honduras and Central America. After the Navy, he spent 16 years working large capital projects in a utility, eventually leading their advanced nuclear efforts for 3 years.

Now he leads Solestiss (pronounced SOLE-stiss), a business focused on solving the energy needs of clients. Dillon, also known as AngusBangus from the TSP forum days, has been a longtime member of the TSP community and is a lifetime MSB member. He’s also been a guest on two previous episodes discussing nuclear power and sailing. He enjoys hunting, fishing, reloading, sailing, and doing crazy things he learns from Jack that his wife eventually thanks him for.
