John Pugliano is an original member of the expert council.  He is the founder and money manager at Investable Wealth and is the host of the Wealthsteading Podcast.  He has over 40 years investing experience and has had a circuitous career including serving in the military, international industrial sales and entrepreneurship. He’s a father of 6 and grandfather of 12.

John joins us today to discuss why he feels that classic retirement is a modern unnatural invention that is yet another control mechanism on society.  Don’t worry you can still enjoy your “golden years”.

    • Hiring managers have discretionary budgets.
    • Consulting is a great option
      • Ten $10k gigs vs one $100k salary.
      • Travel & expense accounts can be better than income
  • So, if I’m not going to retire, then I don’t have to save any money, right
    • WRONG … that’s a poverty mindset
    • The poor work for money, money works for the rich
    • Wealth buys freedom (time is the most valuable form of capital)
