In todays episode of Miyagi Mornings we discussed strategic relocation and what I guess you would call the “after show” came from a comment about how many people in cities feel “trapped” as though they can’t move.  This led to a “Jack Rant” about how people crossed the Berlin Wall during the cold war risking being machined gun down and a state line not being the Berlin Wall.

I started down the road in that discussion with how the human mind is the most powerful computer in the known universe.  Something I have discussed on the podcast before but I dug deeper into how this power is dangerous when ignored or misused.  After thinking about it, I think we need to discuss that more today.

  1. Wow, a religious DOI in the name only. Brilliant! I’m not smart enough to do anything with that idea but I am going to start researching

  2. Great session. A lot of what you said reminds me of an older book I read that shaped my life called “Psycho-Cybernetics” by Maxwell Maltz. It is amazing what challenges your brain can solve unconsciously when you set it up properly and how much damage can be done if you don’t.

  3. Never really knew much about DAO’s until this episode. So I read a bit about them and some current examples and it got me thinking about how to organize private or homeschool coop’d education for children using a DAO as its framework.

    Just trying to solve a problem for folks (like me) that want to have their children homeschooled or at least out of public schools but can’t due to divorce implications and other hard constraints.

    • I don’t think it really helps with that. If a divorce is preventing home school that is a disagreement with the other parent.

  4. I heard somewhere on another podcast that the conscious mind can process 10,000 things per minute, but the unconscious can process 3 million. -numbers are most likely off, but it backs up what you’re saying.
    Also totally agree that the mind working in ways we don’t understand and can’t explain causes people to claim woo.
