Ken Daniels is the creator of DrinkEatLearn.com, a platform dedicated to advancing knowledge and appreciation of food and beverage science. Offering courses, resources, and insights on topics ranging from mixology to advanced food innovation, DrinkEatLearn.com inspires industry professionals and passionate enthusiasts alike. Ken shares his expertise in an approachable, irreverent style—challenging norms, breaking rules, and exploring both common and obscure questions shaping food and drink.

With over 20 years of hospitality experience, Ken’s career includes roles as a former senior manager with multiple restaurant chains, Certified Sommelier, Executive Chef Instructor, and Whisky Associate Ambassador for Glenfiddich Scotch. He also holds a World Brewing Academy Certificate in Executive Brew Science. Known for combining technical expertise with creative vision, Ken excels in developing strategies, crafting experiences, designing solutions, and leading initiatives that elevate the hospitality industry.

As a National Award-Winning Mixologist and former writer for The Tasting Panel Magazine and SommJournal Magazine, Ken has shared his passion and expertise at industry conferences like the California Craft Brewers Association and SommCon. He also brings extensive experience in tasting and selecting hundreds of single-barrel bourbons, whiskeys, tequilas, rums, and gins from national distillers, showcasing his refined palate and deep understanding of spirits.

Ken’s curiosity spans an apprenticeship in cheesemaking, cannabis, cigar and pipe tobacco expertise, and sake production—reflecting his relentless pursuit of mastering new skills.
