Monday Mayhem shows are a throwback to the roots of The Survival Podcast. Fast riffs on many topics in real time. No deep presentations or digging into the finer points of an aquaponics system. A mix of practical prepping, current news and economic trends, and real opinions you will never hear from mainstream or even most alternative media.
Today we talk about the hatred that Gen Z and Millennials have for Boomers, but should that hate be the other way around? Nvidia releases software to prevent AI agents from “going rogue.” At the same time, Bill Gates claims unregulated AI could kill a billion people, but like all such claims, there is no mention of how. Then, could the desire to regulate AI have played a small role in the failure of the CLARITY Act?
From there, we discuss a bullshit move Colorado pulled to put a cap on its cottage food law while pretending to raise the cap on it. Then we dig into a serious question, has America entered what can only be called a long, slow Great Depression?
Of course, the Great Depression was worse, but that is why I say “long and slow” here. While technology and fiat money printing have propped us up, the reality seems undeniable. Our current debt is in what can only be called “no man’s land.” A great deal of things are moving from expensive to more affordable. Eventually, all such things lead to a market collapse, and the next one could be extremely nasty.
We will also examine the reality of what we see in America’s cooking and eating habits. How long houses are sitting on the market with very little inventory, including a statistics trick used to sell the idea that it isn’t that bad. Then we will consider the impact of continuing to import the third world into the West and the potential harsh reality of a full economic reset.

- America is in the middle of a long slow great depression
- The debt has crossed over into “no man’s land”
- Things are moving from expensive to simply unaffordable
- That always eventually leads to a massive market crash
- People are beginning to cook again, lean on cheap cuts, make soups, etc.
- Homes make people rich but inventory is not moving and most can’t afford to sell
- Likely we will see a new sort of “gardening boom” in the coming years
- We are also continuing to import the third world
- The harsh reality facing us is, there is no way out without a complete reset

One of the best examples of the anti-Boomer hate I’ve seen was someone on X very angry at the Boomers for giving us the Hart-Celler Act (of 1965).
Do you realize in 1965 the oldest boomers alive were 19.
Because the federal voting age in the United States was 21 at the time and was not lowered to 18 until the ratification of the Twenty-sixth Amendment in 1971, no Baby Boomers had reached the legal age required to cast a ballot.
As I keep saying these GenZ retards and younger millennial twits are mad at the wrong people. 75% of those people are dead, of the 25% alive over half could not tell you their own names right now. The youngest of the silents are 80 today. And the people who were really in charge in 65 were the GI generation. There are few of them alive, the youngest are 99. lol
These fuckin retards do not even know what Boomer means! To them it just means old which is why they call us 50 somethings boomers.
