Laws of Life Updates, Hard Covers, Work Books & More
Jack here checking in from vacation in Estes Park, Colorado. I know, I know…

It really is okay, guys. This work I am doing was the plan. This vacation is really, for me, a writer’s retreat. I get up at 5 AM daily just like always, my family doesn’t think about getting out of bed till at least 7:30. Most mornings I see Dorothy about 8, my son about 9 and the kids and daughter-in-law about 9:30. And since I am not doing podcast work, that means I get more time to work on my book stuff and I love doing it.

Anyway I have some big updates first what you likely already know..

You likely already knew that and sorry, with KDP you can’t set up preorders. If you search yourself, you can preorder the Kindle versions, but everything else has to wait. I have no power over this. Just make sure you are not buying the first edition of Laws of Life Book One, if you do look to preorder Kindle.

Now for the new exciting stuff…
- First, yes there will be audiobooks. They will however, be made with “virtual voice”. I know many wish I would record them personally but it is just not economically viable. I make about 20 cents when I sell an audiobook because Audible pays out of a pool, not per order especially when people use Audible credits.

This means making it with my voice would take months to do both books and thousands of dollars to make zero profit. I am not Brad Thor or Robert Kiyosaki folks. Still the audios will be great and have no errors this time around.

In any event you won’t be able to get the audios until about 2-3 days after the launch. I can’t create and approve them until the books are live, again another dumb Amazon KDP rule.
` - Second, hard cover copies are coming. I reached out to my formatter, Matt, the Libertarian Book Designer and adding these was easy to do and didn’t cost me much for the additional work. The printing cost per book however, is much higher. The price on these will be 22.95 for Book One and 24.95 for Book Two.

And just in the interest of disclosure I will make a little less selling the soft copies of either priced at 16.95, but all in I make about 5 bucks a book on average. I have adjusted pricing with that target in mind. I added the hard cover copies because several of you asked on social media and it was a pretty low-cost and low-risk addition.

I got the files and uploaded them last night. They now await some intern’s approval at Amazon but as they are copies of the same book, I don’t see that being an issue.
` - Third, workbooks are coming. I have spent most of my morning work time up here developing the template for a work book. I wanted to make sure this was not just a book full of pages with a few prompts and a bunch of lines to write on, which you could make yourself with a 1-dollar drug store notebook.

I don’t yet know when you will be able to buy the workbooks. I need to get them finished, some support tools built and then send them to formatting/editing and wait for Amazon approval. But they will be awesome. How awesome? Well more will come later but how about this math. Each will leave you with an ongoing blueprint as an output. And thanks to a lot of work up here the odds that you and anyone else in the world coming up with the same output will be, and this is not an exaggeration…1 in 430 sextillion.

That is enough unique paths to give every human who has ever lived in all of human history, millions of completely personal combinations. How is this even possible? I’ll explain more about it when I get back next week. My hope is the workbooks are very close to done by the time I return.
` - Fourth online courses for the Laws of Life Series are coming too. These will be fairly low-cost and tremendous value. I want to be clear you can buy the workbooks on Amazon and use them without the course and they will be great. Or you can choose to get the course will add value to them. Additionally anyone buying the courses will get the workbooks in electronic copy free along with the course.

This will let people who like to journal and work more on a computer do so. I think we will also sell downloadable copies directly off our website too for those who want them and they will cost less than the hard copies. So the big point here is you will have options.

These courses will be very affordable. I am not done building them and don’t know exactly how much work Tom will have to do on the back end yet, so pricing is not locked in for now. My gut though is they will be something like 40 dollars each or if you buy both they will be 50-60 or something in that range.

In any event the course will help you tract progress, stay motivated and give you access to some tools I am building you that will really take your results to another level.
