I would add another sign of empire collapse: declining birth rate. Very sad.
4/25/2024 CDC: “The general fertility rate in the United States decreased by 3% from 2022, reaching a historic low. This marks the second consecutive year of decline, following a brief 1% increase from 2020 to 2021. From 2014 to 2020, the rate consistently decreased by 2% annually.”
Many other nations are experiencing the same symptoms but are not empires. Climate change activists, nasty unruly behavior, Canada for instance condoning suicide. I agree with your assessment that these are signs of an empire failing but I’m curious as to your thoughts on why it’s a global scale of problems throughout the world and if the problem might be far bigger then just the United States empire failing
Do you not get that most of these nations are part of the US Empire. The US became the UKs proxy empire after WWII, Canada is a UK vassal. The EU lives off of the US, specifically with protection from NATO which is funded mostly by the US and on the back of the fiat Euro that could not even exist without the fiat dollar, etc.
The problem is not “far bigger then just the United States empire failing” it is that the US Empire is “far bigger” than most understand.
