I am really excited to formally announce this partnership. Anton’s Land of Biltong now offers 12.5% off all orders to MSB Members. While I did mention it on air last week due to the schedule with the 15 year celebration we didn’t formally announce it until today. When Anton reached out the first thing I did was ask for samples of his product. Upon receiving them I was instantly all in, these folks do it right.
Land of Biltong set out to make Biltong that is not like the rest. They start by making every effort to source the finest quality meats, ensuring they provide you with exceptional Biltong. They use premium cuts of Angus and Wagyu beef, hand craft their spice blends and slowly dry age our meats to give you Biltong with a unique and satisfying flavor.
As you guys know I am a biltong fiend, and just love the stuff. Anton’s makes three different forms…
- Traditional from large cuts – These are cured in a way where the center is still a bit moist. Think cured prosciutto as texture but made with beef or bison. They then slice it super thin and package it so it won’t dry out. This is the most authentic biltong you can get.
- Stix – These will seem more akin to jerky but it is also a type of biltong and tastes different then any jerky you have likely ever had. The stick as about the diameter of a pencil and simply long pieces of meat cut with the grain. These are best cut into small pieces with scissors. The flavor of these actually makes them my favorite of the the two forms of biltong they offer. It is more intense and the slightly tougher chew slows me down so I don’t inhale a full bag in one go!
- Droëwors – If biltong and sausage had a baby it would be Droëwors. This is a form or dry sausage that is also fermented just by its very nature. It is a softer texture than many dry sausages and hence many prefer it chilled as it is more firm when chilled. I am also addicted to these but will say they may not be everyone’s cup of tea. But you should totally give then a shot.
The good news is Anton’s Land of Biltong has already been added to the benefits page of the MSB where you can log in and get the discount code. And it is a GREAT discount again of 12.5% off all products. So check them out today and as always if you are not yet an MSB member this is just another example of how the MSB pays for itself if you simply use the discounts.
If you have been considering joining the MSB this is yet another great way to cover the cost of a membership wiht all the great discounts.
