Paul Wheaton’s Newest Kickstarter – Just ~ Got ~ Interesting! — 6 Comments

  1. This sounds like a great opportunity! Thank you for keeping us updated on this.

Out of curiosity, are the digital resources mentioned downloadable or only accessible online? I want to support, but I don’t love anything that’s only accessible online.

    Thank you!

    • In general free stuff or the lowest cost version of stuff from Paul is online only for video but stuff like the magazines, etc. in PDF you can download.

Any sufficiently motivated person though can make a copy of any video or audio online. That is between you and the technology though.

      • Thanks for the quick reply Jack!

I was typing a follow up as you were posting this. I had thought about the screen capture option as I’m strapped for cash currently with hopefully a new member of the family on the way.

        Thanks again.

  2. From looking at the kickstarter page it looks like to get a SD download you need to support with $25 and $45 for HD downloads.

Can anyone confirm that is the case?

    Thanks again 🙂

    • Those numbers are correct, Robert, thanks.

Of course, that is for the main product, the Low Tech Laboratory Movie, only.

Most of the other video reward content is streaming-only. Our stuff with the highest demand has an upgrade-to-download option. And, as Jack said, ebooks and plans are downloadable .pdf files.
