I see a lot of talk about “fighting back” and have for some time now.  Most of it is about posting angry things on social media, “holding them accountable” (whatever the hell people think that means) and voting.  You know I tried all of that at one point or another.  I tried “waking people up” with facts, logic and reason.  I get all types of emails about how I did that for various listeners to the podcast, and I wish I deserved said credit.

No, what I have determined is no one wakes up anyone!  Period, the end, full stop.  Rather life either puts people to sleep with compliance and complacency or it wakes up the urge to figure out what isn’t right about what is going on.  The key is no one Red Pills the Neos of this matrix, Neo must red pill himself or herself and in case you ain’t figured it out, you, me, the buddy you know, we are all Neos.

And do you know what Neo means?  It literally means new.  If you are like so that gave away the end of the third movie in the first moments of the first, good you are not just awake, your pattern recognition is full on, full force.  But like many great stories a single thing, gives multiple lessons.

When you wake up, vs. get woke, you are new, you are literally a Neo.  You see so much for what it is, but there is no Morpheus, “God of Dreams” (meaning of Morpheus) to help you interpret what you are seeing, and transform into something new.  “Transform” and “metamorphosis” see that pattern and connection now?

So instead you seek a Morpheus or if you are smart several and since you woke the hell up you are smart and you do seek several, you seek everything.  Someone or someones resonate most strongly and then you give them the credit for what you yourself actually did.

Then what?  Well many expect their Morpheuses to tell them how to “fight back” just like the movie.  Roll in and kick ass, bend time, dodge bullets and eventually transcend it all.  They key is my fellow Neo just as every wise sage, honest teacher, honorable philosopher and spiritual human has ever taught, you are your answer.

So how do you really “fight back”?  You become ungovernable, unstoppable and you just do what is best for you and those you love.  That is what we are going to talk about today, fighting back by building a better life.

Living your life, your way despite what anyone else says or does is the greatest act of insurrection a person can take.
