Bitcoin Money: A Tale of Bitville Discovering Good Money – Item of the Day
Every day I bring you an item on Amazon that I personally use or has been purchased by many members of the audience and I have researched enough to recommend.
Today’s TSP Amazon Item of the day is the book Bitcoin Money: A Tale of Bitville Discovering Good Money. Have you ever wished that there was a book written for kids as young as 7 so you could um, wink, introduce children to bitcoin. You know where even a um, child, would be able to understand what bitcoin is, why it works, how it works and why it makes sense. Ya know, even a child.
Seriously that is what this book is. Written by “The Bitcoin Rabbi” (yes a real rabbi) specifically so he could teach his 7 year old daughter about bitcoin. He then realized it was a great way to teach adults at the same time.
If you have ever though, man I need a “Bitcoin for Dummies” guide that is not a fricken old school phone book long, this is for you. The human mind has enough work to do taking in new concepts and ideas. By using simple vocabulary and story telling we learn far more easily then needing a technical dictionary as we read something.
And YES this book serves it role in explaining bitcoin to kids as well as helping adults get past the on ramp at the same time. I ordered it as soon as l learned it existed. Some people apparently order multiple copies. I heard the author on the “What Bitcoin Did Podcast” (this episode) and he even said one financial advisor that includes bitcoin in his work orders copies to give to his wealthy clients.
If you are the guy that says, I want to get but I just don’t, get this and you will get it. And if you have children in your life and want to give them a true leg up over their peers, get this. And if you get it but you have a hard time explaining it to others, get this. Get it yet? You really should get a copy of Bitcoin Money: A Tale of Bitville Discovering Good Money . Heck may be we should all send copies to Peter Schiff too?
Anyway read it to your kids, your grandkids, nieces, nephews, etc. And read it for yourself. Even those of you that insist rejecting bitcoin, read this so you at least understand what you are rejecting. And if you don’t have any kids to read it to, get it anyway. It’s okay, no one will know unless you tell them.
