Not a typical item of the day today, just a price alert on a super good deal with a pricing heads up.  The DeWalt 20V MAX Cordless Drill & Impact Drive Combo Kit is on sale today for only 159.00.  Please note this is a good deal on a great set of tools, it is however not the higher end brushless combo I have featured in the past, call it one step down.

Still for about 160 bucks you get the following….

• 1 – DCD771 20v Max Lithium Drill/Driver
• 1 – DCF885 20v MAX Lithium Impact Driver
• 2 – 20-Volt Maximum lithium-ion 1.3Ah battery packs
• 1 – 20-Volt Maximum charger

Along with a carry bag for all of it.  Again not DeWalt’s top of the line set and the 1.2 Ah packs are the lowest of all capacity they make but this is a great tool set.  I see it as a great fit for two types of people….

• You want to get into a quality set of DeWalt tools and need a low cost entry
• You are already on the DeWalt platform and no one regrets an extra drill, driver, charger and batteries

Frankly if I didn’t have three drills and two impact drivers already, I would pick up this set at this price myself.
