TempPro TP50 Digital Hygrometer and Thermometer

Every day I bring you an item on Amazon that I personally use or has been purchased by many members of the audience and I have researched enough to recommend.
Today’s TSP Amazon Item of the day is TempPro TP50 Digital Hygrometer and Thermometer. Recently I built a small plant propagation system using an improvised greenhouse, some plant lights and an indoor aquaponics system. I wanted to know how effective it was at raising temp and humidity. So I checked Amazon for a tool to do this with and when I found these I was blown away at the value.
First if for any reason you only want one they are pretty cheap at only 10 bucks a piece but my main link in this article goes to a 3 pack which is only 28 bucks so you save a buck or two with that. Three was perfect for my project (see the video at the end of this post) becuase I had two areas inside the system I wanted to measure and a third outside was my control.
So exactly what do they do and how do they work? They track two pieces of information, that is temperature and humidly as a percentage. However, they don’t only give you that data as to the current time, they show you the lowest and highest measurements during the time you had them in place.
They are also so simple to use I never even had to read the instructions. There is only one button on the back. Push it one time and it swaps between Celsius and Fahrenheit. The only other option is to push and hold the button. When you do that resets the monitor to restart tracking the highs and lows of humidity and temp. This means the duration you track is pretty much unlimited. If you want to be really tight you could tack the data daily and simply record and reset it. Or you can just leave it in place long term. The choice is yours.
The design is further well thought out as to setting it up in your preferred location to monitor things. It has a simple stand you can deploy and set it on a table or shelf. Or it has a magnet on the back where they can just be hung on any ferris metal surface. They also run on a single AAA battery which is included when you order them. I like standard and easy to swap batteries in devices like this.
So check out the TempPro TP50 Digital Hygrometer and Thermometer, they just work perfectly, have many applications and are so easy to use even a boomer can do it.
