Ninja 12-Cup Programmable Coffee Maker – Deal of the Day!
Every day I bring you an item on Amazon that I personally use or has been purchased by many members of the audience and I have researched enough to recommend.
Today’s TSP Amazon Item of the day is the Ninja 12-Cup Programmable Coffee Maker from Amazon Renewed. Due to the fact that then new item is currently not in stock and I don’t know how long they will be availalbe on ReNewed I will keep today’s post brief.
If they come back in stock as a new item (which I hope they do) I will expand this to a more comprehensive review. For today just let me tell you how I found this item and why I wanted to recommend it.
Previously I told you guys about the AeroPress (full review here). And I still love it. It makes amazing coffee and I’d say even a bit better than the Ninja does. The only issue is the Aeropress is one cup at a time which for just Dorothy on a typical morning is fine. During the workshop lead up when I had JR Haley, Nicole Sauce, Nick Ferguson along with Dorothy and I here for few days, it was to be blunt a pain in the ass, so I started thinking about getting an old school drip maker for these times.
Then at the work shop I picked up on something a few members of the TSP community are doing, something I am not wanting to fully share yet. In any event it involves waking up very early and doing a few things. I didn’t want to spend the time making coffee and just wanted to push a button. This somehow led to a conversation with TSP community memeber John Dowie who said in his heavy New England accent, “This new coffee maker makes the best coffee I ever had”.
Now given John has been known to like Folders and has been known to microwave and reheat coffee multiple times for one cup I was not impressed. Until he said, “no I stopped that shit, I use only good coffee now like Nicole’s and this new coffee maker is great”. He described it but didn’t say the name. I went looking and found one that seemed like it that was almost 300 bucks. Knowing John doesn’t spend money lightly I texted him and said is this it. He responded with “Eff no” and a link.
Well I have been using it for about a month now and I love it. The coffee it makes is amazing for a drip machine anyway. I paid about 90 bucks for mine new and was all prepared today to introduce it to you. I look it up and only one is in stock but I saw the ReNewed alternative.
At only 65 bucks if you want a new machine it is a no brainer. It using cone filters and comes with a permanent one so you don’t really need the paper ones. I find the paper ones so cheap that I just buy them anyway as clean is much faster. I also use my grinds to either feed worms or grow mushrooms so the paper is just more material for both.
Just trust me the damn thing is slick and makes great coffee. You can brew standard or rich, I have only used the rich setting. It also has a setting for a small batch when you do not want to make a full pot. Lastly you can set it to start at any time of your choosing so when you get up, the coffee is ready to go.
So before it is out of stock and this amazing deal goes away, pick up a Ninja 12-Cup Programmable Coffee Maker for only 65 bucks while you can and it also would make a great gift.
P.S. – Don’t let “renewed” put you off it is a marketing term. These are simply items that were returned for whatever reason. They are simply new in box items that can’t be sold as such due to the law. I have written extensively about the ReNewed Program in the past along with how it can save you a lot of money on top brand items. Now all said sometimes this goes wrong and you may end up rarely with a damaged item or one missing parts. If so remember you can just return the item anytime within 30 days of purchase. More information here. I do recommend that when buying any item as a gift it is likely worth opening and inspecting before giving it to your recipient. That goes for anything BTW.
