There is a math concept known as the “lowest common denominator” but this phrase is also used to describe people. It refers to, “the tendency to simplify or compromise complex ideas, art, or culture to appeal to the broadest possible audience, often at the expense of intellectual rigor or artistic merit”.

The bullet points for today’s show were originally use in Episode 2548, published in June of 2019, about 6 months before the start of the CoVid Pandemic. The words proved more prophetic than I could have dreamed. So today we revisit this concept about over 5 years later.
