This move was a culmination of a vision they had since 2012, aiming to transition from the confines of the suburbs to the expansive freedom of a self-sufficient farm life. Their dream was to cultivate a life more in tune with nature and away from the conventional systems that most are accustomed to.

However, as with many life journeys, unexpected turns awaited them. Five years into their homesteading adventure, a series of events led them to retrofit a 32′ travel trailer, sell their cherished homestead, and part ways with a majority of their possessions. With determination and their three St. Bernards in tow, they embarked on a new nomadic journey, carrying everything they owned. This significant pivot in their life’s direction birthed The LOTS Project. While the project has seen various transformations over the years, its foundational ethos, “Living Outside The Systems,” remains unwavering.
