I have been thinking about this a lot lately and how it relates to everything we teach under larger categories like cryptocurrency, permaculture, real entrepreneurship, voluntarism, etc.

The reality is we do know what to do to solve every problem we have.  I don’t mean solve in some utopian view where nothing ever breaks or fails, I mean solve as in any person who wants to live peacefully and be productive in some way can do so and be mostly happy and comfortable.  Stuff will still break, we will still have problems to solve, but the answers are not unknown.

Today I will lay out a blueprint for how I think we can begin to grow up as a society.  I was recently watching some information about a project called “The Venus Project”, it paints a wonderful world, but it’s biggest flaw is that it denies two things….

1. Many people, even very poor people in the world, especially outside the western world do not want it.
2. We are simply as a species not ready for something like this, we have a ton of growing to do.

The good news is we as a community of communities do not have to wait on the rest of the world to get on with “building a better life” and in building a better life ethically we contribute to building a better world.  Today while I will give many ideas and solutions I am going to spend the most time identifying the biggest problems and will lay them out as “the great evils”.  If this sounds religious it isn’t.  You can bend it that way if you want, but the truth is God has nothing to do with these evils, nor does “Satan” as an entity.  This sadly, we have done to ourselves and allowed to be done to ourselves and our children.

  • Controlled Housing – Develop as many housing options as possible, in defiance when necessary
  • Mass Media – Develop platforms with true enforced journalistic standards, teach said same to all and ignore the MSM
  • Military Complex – Create abundance and teach others to do the same
  • Local Community – Just do it, everything else we discussed leads there anyway
• Yes there are more problems, but isn’t solving these 9 enough as a start?
