Great Deal on a Good Generator – 205 Bucks and Free Shipping
Not an official TspAz Item of the day but this just came on my radar. The Dirty Hand Tools 800 Watt Gas Powered Inverter Generator is on sale on Amazon today for 205.33 with free shipping on Prime.
This is essentially the same generator as the famous Sportsman’s Generator I have mentioned before when it was on sale. I own that one, again they are the same thing, different colors is all. This is not a GREAT GENERATOR but it is a good generator for around 300 bucks and it is a hell of a great deal at 205!. It is quiet, it sips gas, it runs all damn night only a half gallon of gas.
I just ordered one myself as having one this weekend during a power outrage was so damn nice. I ran my house on the big Troy Built I own but ran all my outdoor pond pumps on this little thing, it never skipped a beat. It isn’t super quiet but it isn’t really loud either. It is light as heck, easy to take with you and it works. If you ran a 100 foot cord with it at a camp site I think you’d forget it was running in the back ground soon enough.
I am not gonna spend 300 on one of these, because for only 379 in the Value Generator class you can get this one, the PowerSmart PS5025 Super Quiet 2000 watt Portable Inverter Generator but at anything close to 200 bucks the Dirty Hand Tools 800 Watt Gas Powered Inverter Generator is just a great damn deal. I checked the pricing history on this one and it has only been lower than it is today one time. The damn thing is just too good at this price to pass up in my view.
To be clear you only get 800 running watts, it is not going to power your central air or run your entire house but it is great on demand power on the cheap and really great in the two is one, one is none, three is for me world preppers live in.
I see the specs are: 800 peak/700 continuous watts. Jack have you found any issue with the startup watts of a refrigerator or freezer with the similar sportsman?
Only thing I ran with it was my kitchen fridge once it was fine, not sure it would depend on the model. I use the 7500 watt troy built but all the stuff in the garage.
Thanks Jack!
