Freedom from Fatness with Andy McCann – Epi-3455
Podcast: Play in new window | Download (Duration: 2:06:37 — 36.2MB)
Andy McCann of Cross Fit Garage returns to TSP to talk about getting healthy even if you have lived an unhealthy and over weight life into middle age and think it is just too hard to fix. We will talk about how you can change your life for the better and why you should. Tune in to be inspired in more than one way today.
After a less than stellar try at college sports, Andy found himself a traveling sales engineer trouble shooting telecom issues with an EE degree. When his first kid came along, he realized he needed to be more health minded if he intended to be around to see life unfold.
His first attempt at eating healthy was going from Wendy’s to Cracker Barrel. OUCH. Eventually he found CrossFit and its methodology which lead him to start his own gym in Woodstock GA, called CrossFit Garage. 17 years later he’s 50, lift weights, eating beef fat and butter, climbing ropes, and becoming harder to kill. But time has taught him to stop being so stupid and focus on showing up tomorrow.
