Joël Valenzuela is a veteran independent journalist and podcaster, living unbanked off of cryptocurrency since 2016. A mover to New Hampshire for the Free State Project, he previously worked for the Dash decentralized autonomous organization and now primarily produces content for the Digital Cash Network on the Odysee decentralized content platform.
Joël joins us today to discuss the growing financial censorship around the world, as well as rampant inflation we are experiencing. Along with how it has led to a point where it’s affecting the livelihoods of far more than a fringe few. Thankfully, it’s much easier today than at any other point to live without fiat currency thanks to cryptocurrency, and this could be the mass adoption event to kick off the global decentralized finance revolution.

Great interview! I got into DASH because I want an easy to use fiat cash replacement. At least for now, Dash is better digital cash than Bitcoin. If you have to sell your crypto for fiat to spend it then it really isn’t replacing fiat.
