Dealing with a Fire’s Aftermath – Friday Flashbacks – Epi-57
Podcast: Play in new window | Download (Duration: 55:42 — 15.9MB)
In this episode from 2011 I was joined by Marc Hallee. We discussed how his family experienced the disaster of a house fire in Feb 2011. He came on air to tell TSP listeners what to avoid and how to protect their property and items during the rebuild process.
To sum it up, they had the house fire, they were then robbed and vandalized the first night by the builders boarding up the house. Just about all dry cleaned items were destroyed by the cleaning process, the ServiceMaster company lost many items and stole even more. It gets worse from there, and as bad a house fire can be, if you don'[t have a plan in place in advance, it will end up far worse. Lean in this episode how to prevent that from someone who learned the hard way, so you don’t have to.
