Today on The Survival Podcast I take your questions on vehicle prep, block chain, business, gardening, fruit trees, aquaponics, wealth, kids and more.
Make sure if you submit content for a feedback show that you put something like “comment for jack”, “question for jack” or “article for jack” in the subject line to assure proper identification for my screening process.
Please understand I receive several hundred emails a day and can’t get them all on the air.
I also do put out a lot of information on Facebook from emails that I can’t fit on the program though so keep em coming.

Hi Jack.
Tried visiting your fishing site (Bullhead Fishing Forum) but it’s not allowing me, reporting a message: “Forbidden – Visitors from your country are not permitted to browse this site.”
I’m browsing from Australia, and wondering if this was something that was there by design, or if it’s an error.
Cheers,
Jon.
Just a side note when storing well or rain water in plastic barrels it is advisable to add a couple of pounds of limestone rock to the storage container to keep the pH on the alkaline side so you can prevent corrosion with copper and other metals in your system.
I live over the Tazman from your caller we have had personal experience of copper corrosion and that why concrete water tanks are preferred in NZ
Cheers Finster
Has anyone tried raising crickets to feed fish in aquaponics/aquatics systems? I have no experience with that, but crickets seem easy enough to raise from the little research I have done.
I don’t know the nutrient makeup of a cricket other than they are a source of protein. At least may be supplement option and would have crickets to take “perch” fishing!
I got a fever…and the only prescription is more cowbell.
Somebody had to do it.
Thanks, Jack for mentioning the workshop! Super cool of you.
The food forest workshop mentioned above has come and gone but I will honor the same coupon code for future events, which can be found here: txediblelandscapes.com/events
Thanks for answering my question. Great suggestions!
Hindsight is 20/20. The government of Sierra Leone states they did not use blockchain. There’s one prominent article floating on Google about. It would be nice to do though. Seems it was an overexaggerated publicity grabber by Agora.
This is good stuff though. Part of my thesis is focused on blockchain. I appreciate your views on it.
