As far as the Blue Zones there are 5 original not 3 (https://www.bluezones.com/live-longer-better/original-blue-zones/#section-2) and they don’t just have observational data, but they do have at least 1 intervention(https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EVauROroe1Y). The difficulty with this interventional data is that several things have been changed so it’s hard to determine the exact cause and effect of different parts of these lifestyles based upon this analysis alone though I listened to several of the Blue Zone debunked videos this weekend and found that they seemed to ignore that these diet changed over time and what Okinawan’s didn’t always eat spam for instance (https://okinawahai.com/spam-if-youre-l). I have hardly heard anyone mention this, but it is just one of those strange fact I learned while listening to various videos about health and nutrition. So I wouldn’t rely on any of this either…

This is a link to a test on small engines with about every “fuel stabilizer” product I have seen–9 of them in all. NONE of them worked to prevent small engine failure after 19 months! In the test they mixed common 10% ethanol fuel with each product according to its instructions. ONE engine (the 10th one) had premium fuel with NO ethanol–after 19 months that engine started perfectly and the fuel system had none of the gunk that developed in the other engines. Oh yeah, the engines were all brand new from Ariens.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ILUPNEgOt0Q I have talked with a number of people and seen other videos. Consensus is you should spend a little more and use only premium non-ethanol fuel in your small engines. (or anything else you depend on). Some even use 100 octane aviation fuel from the airport–it is designed to never go bad, as it may sit unused in an airplane for quite a while.
