Expert Council Q&A for 11-18-21 – Epi–2986 — 7 Comments

  1. Shawn’s comparison between grid tie battery backup and generator was not fair and skewed by assumptions to the generator option. He assumed that the battery system needed to be capable of delivering power for a full 48 hours while the generator only needed to run for a half hour every 4 hours. Well, if the person is willing to tend a to a generator on that schedule then they could plug and unplug the backup battery system on that same schedule. Thus the power requirements goes from 6000 Wh to about 1000 (30 min divided by 4 hours) and the number of batteries goes from 6 to 2.

  2. I would be interested in a coffee business workshop that Nicole offered. Not for the coffee business but for her business tips in general.
