Today its Friday so it’s time for the expert council show. To ask a question for a show like this, just send an email to me at jack at thesurvivalpodcast.com with “TSPC Expert” in the subject line.
Today on The Survival Podcast, the expert council answers questions on solar, wells, permaculture, gardens, tool maintence, dogs, economics, legal issues and more.
In the body of your email first tell me the council member your question is for. Second ask your question concisely in one to two sentences maximum. Third any and all details after that. This is the formula to give you the best chance of getting on the air.
I do what I can to get as many of your questions as possible on the air but can’t always get to all of them. Our council is made of a wide variety of experts in everything from the tactical to the practical and everything in between.
To get more information on our Expert Council visit our “Meet the Expert Council Page” to learn more about them and their specific areas of expertise.

Hi Jack!
no sooner did I email the question on toads did my little guy have an encounter with one. I believe I called him off before he grabbed hold of it but I rinsed his mouth and brought him to the ER just to be safe and he is perfectly fine.
I loved your idea about using the americanus version as a training tool – thank you.
I also started placing toad traps around the outside of the property line; the cane toad is pretty easy to identify once you see a handful of them.
thank you and Doc Kelly!
The actual title of today’s Song of the Day is “Pink Houses.” Nevertheless, it’s one of favorite JC(M) songs partially due to the fact when the song was released, there was a pink house along the main road that led to my neighborhood.
In your story of Farmer Brown, you had a minor slip up. You use the pronoun ‘he’ around 6:30 – 6:33 referring to Farmer Brown, but your point is still valid about assumptions.
FYI Amber Guyger’s toxicology report came back clean – no alcohol or drugs in her system from the blood test after the shooting.
Interesting as she said she had been drinking.
