In the fishing video, you were lucky enough not to be bothered by citizen snitch patrols. Every time I do something different in the wilderness, I’m meet with stares, imposing questions, and call 911, call 911, call 911…
For the guy looking for webcam security, here is some free web cam software. You can run multiple cameras by running multiple instances of the software in windows. Not the greatest, but it’s free.

For people wanting a firearm in 10mm that is similar to the IMI Jericho (which is a close copy of the CZ75), look at the EAA Witness. The firearms are good, but the company’s customer service has a bad reputation.
@Chad, well this is Texas. People tend to leave folks alone in the south as long as they aren’t shooting at buildings or anything crazy. That plus most annoying pain in the ass types stay indoors when it is 102 out side.
The jericho is a copy of the CZ75, just with a slide mounted safety vs frame mounted on the CZ.
As for .40, it offers improved performance against intermediate barriers when compared to 9mm. Important for LEOs, who deal with lots of shootings involving vehicles, less of a consideration for civilian shooters.
Zoneminder is free, although it does require you to run Linux on your computer.

Thanks for the heads up on Visec – going to recommend to a couple people.
If you are more technical you can roll your own system like I did http://thesurvivalpodcast.com/forum/index.php?topic=17336.0
Mine now has an “away” mode and it emails motion activated video clips to my phone when I’m not home.
Also don’t forget most cameras need a little bit of light at night unless you get a high end one. I keep a 25W light bulb on near the locations monitored.
I have a suggestion for those wanting to keep religion alive after a major TEOTWAWKI situation. You can get books on religious ceremonies and purchase books of sermons from various ministers. That is how ministers today prepare their sermons. Copy and paste or photocopy different sermon subjects and put together a sermon.
Just remember what the priest said in Trading Places, “3eligion is a fine thing, taken in moderation!”
Just wanted to say to all your soccer fans. Good Luck to the US Men’s team today!! Let’s Get it Boy’s!!!
Thanks Jack for the response to reverse mortgages. I only brought up the rant remark because I know you hate mortgages to begin with. Thought your answers were very good and you taught me a couple of things. Thanks again and I do enjoy the show. On a side note, I shared five of your shows with a friend who is beginning hunting such as; squirrel hunting 101 and others on shot guns. You are an awesome resource, thanks for all that you do.

For the corn borers: When corn starts to silk, apply vegetable oil on tips just as you suggested for BT…Old remedy! Works great!
You were talking about something similar to Hulu and I thought you said “Voxy,” but I couldn’t find it. Can you clarify?
Boxee is at http://www.boxee.tv/
Awesome. Thank you!
Ah Jake beat me to it. Yep Boxee and that is just the start, the current format we think of as TV is dying. Boxee and Hulu are not really the future in their current forms, just stepping stones to things that no one has even really built yet.
This just hit my in box like 3 minutes ago, it is almost like I know what I am talking about. LOL

We cut off cable 3 months ago, going to Netflix (which we already paid for), Hulu, JustinTV.com, ESPN3.com, etc.
All it took was a VGA cable from a laptop to the TV for about $10.
