Episode-347- Setting Self Sufficiency Goals for 2010
Podcast: Play in new window | Download (25.5MB)
Join me today as I discuss some self sufficiency goals that I have set for myself in 2010, along with goals I have for the show and to better serve you the audience. The show notes are brief today due to the type of show we are doing, I am not going to list my goals in the notes if you want to know them you will have to tune in.
I will be trying to inform and educate along the way too. I will be discussing some really interesting permaculture concepts, revisiting my “green greenhouse” (Bill Mollison does it better then me), ideas for people that want to start a business and more.

I think your ideal about burrying a pipe to cool the air will work. A few years ago I read an article in Progressive Farmer or Farm Journal about a farmer who did what your talking about. He bury concrete pipe and use fans to blow the air through them into his house. If I can find the article I will send it to you. Thanks for your show.
James
Think of the off-grid survival possibilities. . .

That unit produces 90kW continuous. The typical home has a power panel rated at 120 volts & 125 amps which produces full load, peak power of 15kW (and average power (RMS) of 10.6kW). Even at full load peak power, you\’re selling about 70% of the generated electricity back to the grid.
Tie some of that output into a hydrogen generator and you now have free fuel for your autos, lawn mowers, tractors, oven/stove, HVAC system, etc. For that, see http://www.genesys-hydrogen.com/content/view/18/34/
Jack I just wanted to say Happy New Year and all the best luck for the future to you and all who listen to the show. 10 million and give away 5? For sure, at least. Enough is enough.
Jack,
Here’s hoping that you and the pod cast have the best year in 2010!
Thank you for all your help in our family…it works!
Jack didnt you do a show or a comment once about a tribe in africa or somewhere like that where the natives put pipes in the ground to help keep there huts cooler in the summer.

Thanks Jack and Happy New Year to all!
Just wanted to say thanks for everything you’ve done so far, and to wish you and yours a Happy New Year.
