John Pugliano has been a friend and contributor to the TSP community since I first met him at a trade show in Salt Lake City back in 2011. He currently serves on the Expert Council doing double duty answering questions on both investing and finance along with HAM Radio subjects as well.

He is a USMC veteran and a successful entrepreneur managing the wealth of blue and white collar millionaires through his firm Investable Wealth. He also runs his own podcast called the Wealthsteading Podcast where he shares his insights about our economic future and investing for tomorrow beyond buy and hold with out resorting to day trading frequencies.

Several years ago John authored his book, “The Robots are Coming: A Human’s Survival Guide to Profiting in the Age of Automation“. While John and I both feel the coming move to automation and self learning technologies was inevitable we also agree that “CoVid is killing the dying”. When we say that we don’t mean people we mean entire industries, employment niches and vertical markets. CoVid has not caused these things to occur they were already in progress. What has happened is gas has been poured on a raging fire, speeding up this move to technology and disruption by at least 5 years.

Today in part two of this interview we discuss what to do about the coming disruptions and the opportunity this seemingly bad news offers the opportunistic, the motivated and the prepared.
