Today Mitchell Earl, CEO of Discover Praxis joins us to discuss how young people can opt out of the college-industrial complex and prioritize real world experience and skills.  Along with why this approach has worked well for so many Praxis graduates at a fraction of both the cost and time of college.

I am very excited about today’s show as I have tried to get someone from Discover Praxis on the show quite a few times in the past.  I gave up, then they just show up and offer the CEO, I will take the W on that.  As you guys know I don’t hate college for some, I hate the concept of college for EVERYONE, it is nonsense and has led to “degree inflation”. We have more people with degrees (per capita and total) then ever.  Those degrees are more expensive then ever but have less value to employers then ever at the same time.

We have talked about many other options over the years.  Entrepreneurship, trade schools, apprenticeships and bootcamps.  Well Praxis is sort of like an apprenticeship and bootcamp combined and then put on steroids.  I am very impressed and think you will enjoy our conversation with Mitchell today.
