I just ordered duck and boiled rice from my local Chineese restaurant. Going to replay the video again over dinner.
When I was a kid we had a mix of ordinary hens along with smaller wilder bantem hens. The bantam hens layed smaller eggs and tended to roust in evergreen trees by choice rather than roust in the hen shed. I have a vague memory of hearing that mixing the bantams with main flock brought some advantage to both, I have long forgotten what it was, anyone know what it might have been and could it apply to ducks.
