Today we are joined by long term community member Jake Robinson.  Jake is a lifetime MSB member and probably has attended more workshops at 9 mile farm than almost anyone else. Jake spent 3 years in the UK and his worldview was impacted – when he returned to TN in 2007 he had a feeling of impending doom – scared of what may come – now he can sleep deep at night and has developed self-reliant skills and enjoys learning and developing relationships with like-minded folks online and in real-life.

Jake has a 5 acre home in the country and continues to implement systems, skills and tools. He flips raw land as a business and is taking on his next ambitious project of a start-up cattle operation from scratch. It will be complete with a YouTube channel to document his mistakes, failure, progress and hopefully successes.

Jake is also beekeeper, mead maker, kombucha brewer, Freeze Drying maniac. He knows how to stretch a dollar. He enjoys helping, teaching and sharing ideas and loves creative problem-solving.

He joins us today to discuss his journey from being totally scared and unsure of the future plugged into the false dichotomy of society to traveling down the path towards anarchy.
